Thanx Bob K.

This is a link to wiring of a relay it is not specific to headlights. It
should work for anything you want to wire with a standard relay.
Let me know if the link does not work. You can also right click
it and "save as". You will need adobe reader 5.0 or higher to
read it. I just tried it out and it worked with out a problem.

The photos I promised. Ya I know late... Very late but stuff
happens. Here are photos of front seat and my current dash
layout as well as the rear seat block off. Ya I know the carpet
is purple. it was black but the sun has faded it. I need to replace it.

Not much to look at for now (stock basically) but there is a project in the works that if all goes to plan I should unveil it in a couple of months.

Edit: Ok a hint. Mix and match parts from a C230 Kompressor, a 951 and a 924s and a supercharged mustang.

I had to come up with a way to eliminate the clutched pulley on
the M62. I finally did it with two alternator pulleys some welding
and some machien work. I have a couple of other things coming
in related to fuel and spark management but that is just plug and
play stuff. With the pulley completed I can now fabricate the
mounting bracket as I did not have the exact location of the pulley
relative to the head unit but now that I have that the final
adjustments to the cad drawings can be made and the
mounting plate will be cut. Now all I need is some
warmer weather.

Lets see it has been a while since I updated this:

Put the snow tires back on last week. The db's are back in
storage for a while.

The M62 is out and a TD04-15G is to be used in its place.
The EDIS is working solid as a rock it has been almost a
year since it was installed and I have been using it as a
DD with no issues.

Stay Tuned for exhaust manifold fab 101 soon to come. I am
looking at modeling it after the manifold used in the Callaway
Turbo cars. The turbo I have has the westgate and the
bypass integrated into it making fabrication of the manifold
much simpler. as well as the intake fabrication simpler as well.

Because of this I now have a M62 and am M90 sitting on the shelf.
Make an offer!!!!

I also have a TD04-13G that will probably be on the block
as well (came with the 15G as a package deal)

I will soon have the MJLJ up for sale as well as I am going
to upgrade to either a mega or micro squirt.

I may considder going with a stand alone fuel only control
if I can find one and keep the MJLJ in place.

Inter cooling is the next real technical issue. I am thinking
top mount with the scoop from a 931 hood to feed it air.
Possibly with a fan keeping it cool at lower speeds and
preventing heat soak when sitting still. (think sitting in traffic).

Ohya it is not sexy but 2" light gauge galv conduit makes
nice intake piping

More to come as I get things together.

Well it has been a long long road with this car. The last year has not been kind to it. I am now well over 350K miles and the motor finally gave up. Just worn out. I could change the rod bearings again but I have two low mileage 2.5 motors in the shed and I have been slowly hoarding the parts to make a 8V 3.0L motor. I have not decided on if it should be built for boost or not. I have all the parts and engine management all set to go either way.

I have another problem and that is the chaise is literally wearing out. I drove another 944 the other day and I was amazed just how rigid the body is. I am really torn. I could tear it apart and seam weld things underneath and box in things and add some connectors and bracing or I could go get another low mileage body and rebuild a new.

Anyway it has been a really long ride for this car and it is not dead yet. It is for the moment "resting" until I finalize my plan for its next iteration.

Oh and my son has come up with a paint scheme for it so there will be that change as well. Should be a very intresting next itteration of the old 924s
